The location I chose for this unit was Sharm El- Sheikh, Egypt. The reason I chose this place was because I used to go there every short and long holiday, I kind of grew up there too. This is my favourite place because I enjoy my time there chilling, relaxing, meeting new people from different countries and those who work there. I used to enjoy and learn from people who worked there about their adventures and experiences. They taught me how to dive and told me about a lot of stories about Sharm El- Sheikh. As I grew up, I did not get the chance to visit Sharm El-Sheikh anymore which is sad because I love it there, it's like home.
Doing an Earthscape painting about this place was somewhat hard but fun. It was hard to make the painting realistic so I had to mix different colours and use different tones to look like it. It was a fun unit because I am a huge fan of painting.
However, I am glad that we had this unit because it bought so much nice memories back and I am happy that I finished this painting to put it up on the wall.
